When MCTV volunteer Tom Gradzewicz completed "Arts & Crafts: Food for the Soul", he was pleased with the results of his efforts. Now he has even more reason to be pleased. His half hour documentary on the arts and crafts classes available at the Methuen Senior Activity Center has been selected as a NATIONAL HOMETOWN AWARD winner.

The national competition, sponsored by the Alliance for Community Media, recognizes excellence in community programs. His program, judged as best in the catagory of "Informational Feature by a Non-Professional", will be officially awarded at the Hometown Awards ceremony on July 10 in Washington D.C.
